How Does Fencing Make Time for Staff Development?

National Fencing Centers has hired Mr. Mark Pollock, a California Credentialed teacher (#040159738), to provide instruction to students at schools throughout the greater Sacramento area. Mr. Pollock has 15 years of teaching experience, working in both elementary and middle schools, and also has earned a CLAD credential and a certificate in Mastery of Basic Coaching from the University of San Diego.

When your students are with Mr. Pollock, they are with a skilled teacher. This may free up a member of your staff to engage in staff development activities, such as analyzing standardized test scores, differentiating curriculum, searching for additional classroom resources, or even taking online courses that enhance classroom skills. That staff member can also free up other staff for these development activities. All this may be done while students are enjoying a fun, high-quality learning experience that meets P.E. requirements and state standards.

Best of all, parents love fencing. They see their kids excited about a new sport, and throw in their support as well. It’s a win-win-win situation!
